how to :configure astatic ip address and dns manually for most knowing operating system

windows95/98/me

1- double click on my computer and then double click control panel .

2- double click the network icon .

3- double click the tcp/ip protocol pound to the network adapter you want to manually assign .

4- form the ip address tab , select specify an ip address , and then type a unique ip address for each client computer using the range for examble : between 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254

5- in the subnet mask box , type 255.255.255.0

6- on the dns configuration tab , click enable dns and then type the client computer's name in the host box .

7- on the gateway tab type 192.168.1.1 in the new gate way box and then , click add and type 163 . 121. 128.135 and click add .

9- click ok , and restart your computer when prompeted .

1- click on the start menu , select setting , and double click network and dial-up connections .

2- double click on the local area connection of the adapter you want manually assign , seclect properties .

3- double click on the enternet protocol tcp/ip , select use the following ip address , and then type a unique ip address for each client computer using the range for example : between 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254

4- in the subnet mask section type 255.255.255.0

5- in the gateway section type 192.168.1.1 .

6- select use the following dns server addresss , type 163.121.128.134 under preferd dns server and 163.121.128.135 under alternate dns server and click ok .
