Kerry, Netanyahu discuss peace process in Rome and the Iranian nuclear file
Meet U.S. Secretary of State , John Kerry , and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in Rome , on Wednesday, to discuss developments in the peace process in the Middle East, and the nuclear talks with Iran.
The newspaper " Haaretz " Israeli senior Israeli officials say, that the meeting between Kerry and Netanyahu , will include four hours of direct talks between them.
The newspaper added that Kerry wants to pressure on Netanyahu to take steps on achieving peace with the Palestinians.
The Israeli Prime Minister , pointed out in an interview on the eve of the talks that he wanted to focus on the Iranian nuclear file negotiations .
Netanyahu said after meeting his Italian counterpart Enrico Letta : "If Iran succeeds in its quest for nuclear weapons , it would be a very bad thing ," Iran denies it is seeking to produce nuclear weapons.
And displays the international community to ease some sanctions if Iran accepted restrictions on its nuclear program , but Israel says they suspect that Tehran is preparing to reach a compromise.
The talks resumed between Israelis and Palestinians late last July after intense U.S. intervention . Media blackout was imposed on the process in an attempt to prevent leaks .
